Marilyn C. Brewer (R-Newport Beach)
Recently served as a commissioner on the Orange County Transportation Authority. From 1994 to 2002, served in the California State Assembly, where she represented the 70th Assembly District. Previously served as an executive assistant to Orange County Supervisor Thomas F. Riley from 1986 to 1994. Co-founder of C. Brewer Company in 1965, where she worked until 1983. Founding chair of the Orange County Coalition of Comprehensive Mental Health Services and member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine. Appointed to the Little Hoover Commission by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on October 6, 2006.Please direct all communications to the Commission Office:
